Stephanie Beitlich, LMSW is our master’s level clinician here at Eagle Overlook Recovery for Adolescents. Originally from Washington state, Stephanie received her undergraduate degrees of a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies of Social Sciences from Central Washington University in 2012. Stephanie began her career working as a substance abuse counselor, employed both during and after her undergraduate schooling in residential and outpatient recovery settings for teens. Seeking change and challenge, Stephanie moved to Georgia and sought to further her education, obtaining her Master’s of Social Work at the University of Georgia in 2016. As a recipient of a 2015-2016 grant funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, which emphasized the importance of serving children, adolescents, transitional age youth, and their families; Stephanie’s graduate studies focused on providing interprofessional and collaborative care for youth and families. Stephanie has had opportunities to train and work in various settings with diverse client populations including psychiatric inpatient facilities, outpatient substance abuse and mental health counseling, and community mental health with children in the school setting. Utilizing integrative methods, Stephanie genuinely believes in the importance of helping youth embrace their strengths and individuality, seeing each client holistically as a unique person with the capacity to reach their goals.
